Overview for July 2009
The heatwave is finally upon us, and an unusually large number of planetary contacts make sure that this month will be filled with activities and events. Three separate eclipses occur within this time frame. There is a penumbral lunar eclipse when the moon reaches its full phase on July 7th, in Capricorn. This could be an opportunity to build a new structure around a creative business idea. Then there is a total solar eclipse when the new moon occurs in the last degree of Cancer on July 21. Often regarded as a time to start afresh with something which has ground to a halt, this is a period when you can reflect on what is no longer relevant for you to pursue. Finally a supermoon creates an eclipse to the new moon the following day (22nd), still just in Cancer. This is a sensitive time when nerves could fray; if something difficult needs to be dealt with, it could be better to delay this until the end of the month. Throughout this year Jupiter, Neptune and Chiron make their slow journeys together through the sign of Aquarius. It is a time when a cure could be found for a major cause of illness or disease, or some other kind of global medical breakthrough or discovery could occur. Aquarius, which has connections with both medicine and healing, plays host to a large number of planets all year.

ARIES
As the month begins Aries folk could find themselves in an unusually quiet and reflective mood, but this changes after the first week when the old fighting spirit returns. Choose your battles wisely though and allow yourself to be pampered, as your energy is not at its highest.

TAURUS
Your ruling planet Venus, in its own sign of Taurus, could invite romantic confrontations as the month begins, joined in the first few days n by Mars; bite your lip as things calm down around mid-month. In fact the last week sees a surprising and welcome upturn in your love life!

GEMINI
Venus and Mars enter your sign early in the month, joining your ruling planet Mercury which creates good karma with four others. Make the most of the romantic opportunities and general good fortune around you in the first half of the month. Take extra care of your health after 15th.

CANCER
It's all go for Cancer this month, especially if you are born toward the end of the sign, with a new moon, supermoon and eclipses affecting you and inviting changes. This period is great for doing any writing or paperwork you have been putting off; your mind is sharp and attuned.

LEO
This month falls into thirds for you. he first ten days aren't the happiest or most comfortable, as you contemplate making big changes. The middle ten bring a welcome clarity of thought which eases the process; and the last ten are much happier; you feel great and romance blooms!

VIRGO
This is a fairly quiet time for you, when you will be putting things in place for the future and preparing yourself for a quantum leap upwards in your career. Creative energies are at their most focussed around 21st. Enjoy the peace at this time as things are about to get much busier!

LIBRA
Your ruling planet, Venus, brings you into contact throughout this month with a range of issues some of which are more welcome than others. At the start, take care of your loving relationships and avoid a dramatic reaction on 7th. Plan a romantic adventure between 26th and end of month.

SCORPIO
As the month starts you will have to think twice before blurting out what you feel. if you want to avoid lasting damage. But the middle of the month sees passion combine with romance to increase your popularity with loved ones, new or existing! Don't forget about your working life!

SAGITTARIUS
Oppositions to your sign from Mercury mean it's best to delay any important communications until the second week. Take extra care driving, mid-month. Plans for more stability in your love life can come to fruition after 21st. Make sure you know what you want!

CAPRICORN
Prepare yourself for a hectic time. Three eclipses this month all affect your sign and are likely to bring a time of change. An ending could be on the cards on 7th but this would be to your advantage. An issue from the past may need to be dealt with around 26th - don't avoid it if so.

AQUARIUS
You hardly have time to draw breath as one thing after another demands your attention, each seeming to be equally important. With most major planets transiting your sign and contacting your personal ones, you could feel exposed; make sure to take some quiet time every day.

PISCES
This is not a time for rushing headlong into new ventures. Heed advice given and above all, stay calm. Look out for excitement in your romantic life around 7th. Your ruling planet Neptune brings you into contact with some unusual characters, one of whom becomes a lasting friend.
